Reiss for men is about shirts with cutaway collars, monochrome crew neck jumpers, quilted gilets, and double-breasted blazers. Of course, Reiss also offers jeans in a variety of cuts and even bomber jackets, but its message remains basically the same: from office to evenings.

Originality. Reiss clothing is distinguished for its high quality: for a well-justified price you can buy there a dress that will serve you for years as a wardrobe staple. Reiss stores offer no cutting-edge styles, but essential trousers, skirts, and jumpers, all of them easily combinable with each other and the rest of your wardrobe favourites, are always available there.

Chic. Reiss is certainly not a fashion-forward brand. Reiss designers are committed to classic styles that take advantage of the fabrics that feel nice to the touch, reserved and noble palettes, and are stripped away from any superfluous detailing.

Corporate history highlights. The company was founded by David Reiss in 1971. The corporate history is well-nigh unremarkable with the exception of the fact that half a century after its foundation, the company is still owned and run by David, something unheard of in the fashion industry.
