New Look's product range somewhat resembles that of ASOS: the same teenage silhouettes and prints, with the designers closely tracking the trends. You're most likely to find there a dozen of tie waist midi dresses with double shoestring straps, jersey tops, skinny jeans, text print sweatshirts with texts, a number of floral print items, and crop tops. Unlike ASOS, however, New Look favours a tad more reserved colourways. Menswear range features Aloha shirts, bomber jackets, and denim shorts.

Originality. N/a. New Look is just a typical cheap mass market brand that lacks any originality whatsoever. It's good when you're in need of cheap and cheerful "disposable clothing" for a party.

Chic. New Look grab the most popular, obvious, and safe trends and reproduce them in every other piece they make. Off the shoulder styles, asymmetrical hemlines, pointed toe shoes, and rib patterned knitwear are all readily available in a number of other UK stores.

Pricing. Typical of a mass market brand. T-shirts are €10, trousers are €15.

Corporate history highlights. Just like many other major retailer chains of our time, New Look started out in 1969 as a tiny store in Wellington, Somerset. In 1994 the company celebrated the opening of its 200th store. As of today, New Look have a retail chain of over 1000 stores worldwide.
